Mercedes-Benz of Fredericksburg is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. We offer a state-of-the-art facility, strong community values, and opportunities to grow your career within a locally owned dealership.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring service quality. A high school diploma is required; ASEs and a Virginia Inspector license are a plus. Drug screen and background check required. Closed on Sundays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Va. Inspector License is a Plus; ASE certifications are a Plus.
• Willingness to submit to drug screen and background check.
• Clean and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose performance or mechanical issues for automotive vehicles brought to the shop.
• Perform advanced, basic and minor repairs as required.
• Communicate with service advisor if additional work is needed or if repairs will not be completed in time.
• Inspect and test-drive new vehicles to ensure features function properly.
• Install optional equipment on new vehicles as specified.
