Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles ensuring safety and reliability. You will perform inspections, alignments, tire services, and general maintenance while upholding quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of repair experience or 2–4 years of hands-on training, with knowledge of diagnostic equipment and tire/wheel services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive repair or 2–4 years of hands-on training in automotive maintenance.
• 1+ year of experience as an alignment technician or completion of a post-secondary vocational program in automotive technology.
• Extensive knowledge of tire installation, wheel balancing, and diagnosing ride disturbances.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Perform wheel alignments, tire services, and suspension/steering adjustments as needed.
• Conduct general vehicle maintenance including oil changes, brake service, and fluid checks.
