Job summary

Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles for safe operation. You will perform inspections, alignments, tire services, and routine maintenance using specialized tools while ensuring accuracy and quality in the shop.

The role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and strong teamwork in a fast‑paced, safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive repair or 2–4 years of hands‑on training in automotive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair vehicles to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Perform wheel alignments, tire services, and other suspension or steering adjustments as needed.
Conduct general vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, fluid checks, and tune‑ups.
Utilize specialized automotive tools and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Maintain accurate service records and document completed work in accordance with company policies.
Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards in the shop.
Adhere to all safety procedures and ensure a clean, organized work environment.
Provide professional and courteous service to customers, explaining findings and recommended repairs clearly.
