Job summary

Westbrook Toyota, part of the Lorensen Auto Group, seeks Experienced Master Certified Technicians to join our clean, temperature-controlled shop in Connecticut. We offer an excellent working environment, competitive wages, and opportunities to grow within a family-owned dealership.

Responsibilities include performing repairs per repair orders, using diagnostic tools, test-driving vehicles, and communicating with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ASE Certification required or equivalent.
• Certified Technician certification preferred.
• A level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about additional services and timing estimates.
• Perform warranty repairs per manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Service Technician experience required
• Certified Technician
• ASE Certification
• A level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical and Engine Repair
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Basic Computer skills
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Team player
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
