Job summary

Antwerpen Automotive in Pasadena, MD is seeking a VW Certified Technician to join our high-volume service team. You will diagnose, repair and maintain Volkswagen vehicles, using VW-specific tools and following manufacturer specifications to ensure quality and safety.

Candidates should have 5+ years of automotive experience with German vehicles, strong VW systems knowledge, and the ability to work on multiple VW models. ASE certifications are a plus and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician with a focus on German vehicles.
• VW Master Technician status is preferred.
• Expertise using VW-specific diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work on a wide range of Volkswagen models and systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.).
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Volkswagen vehicles per manufacturer specifications and standards.
• Complete VW-specific repairs including engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, and exhaust systems.
• Stay updated with VW service bulletins, technical updates, and recalls.
• Perform factory-recommended maintenance services such as oil changes and tire rotations.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to assess and resolve vehicle issues.
• Provide clear, professional communication to customers about repairs and conditions.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time spent on each repair.
• Collaborate with the service team for a seamless customer experience.

As a VW Certified Technician, you will use your expertise to maintain and repair Volkswagen vehicles while providing exceptional service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Volkswagen vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and service standards.

• Complete Volkswagen-specific repairs such as engine, transmission, and electrical systems, as well as suspension, brakes, and exhaust systems.
• Stay up-to-date with VW service bulletins, technical updates, and recalls.
• Perform factory-recommended maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and more.
• Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately assess and resolve vehicle issues.
• Provide clear and professional communication to customers regarding vehicle condition and repair needs.
• Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time spent on each repair.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure a seamless customer experience and a well‑maintained work environment.

Qualifications:

• German vehicle experience preferred (VW Master Technician status is desired).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Automotive Technician, with a focus on German vehicles.
• Expertise in using VW-specific diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work on a wide range of Volkswagen models.
• Strong knowledge of Volkswagen systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc.).
