Responsibilities

1. Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently, following dealership policies and procedures.
2. Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
3. Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
4. Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of additional services needed.
5. Provide estimates for time needed for additional repairs.
6. Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.
7. Provide MPI and TruVideo MPI services.
8. Work schedule is Tuesday to Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off each week.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Service Technician experience required.
• State Inspector certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it.
• ASE Certification is required.
• Qualifications include Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair skills.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Ambitious, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mindset.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively.
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
