Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance as specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies.
• Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test components and systems.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about additional services needed.
• Provide estimates for repair times and costs.
• Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.
• Provide MPI and TruVideo MPI services.
• Work schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of Service Technician experience.
• State Inspector certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it.
• ASE Certification is required.
• Strong skills in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
• Knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Ambitious, hardworking, and a team player.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive attitude and customer-focused mentality.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and learn new technologies and procedures.
• Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
