Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance as specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies.
- Test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools and special service equipment to test components and systems.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed about additional services needed.
- Provide estimates for repair times and costs.
- Execute repairs under warranty according to manufacturer specifications.
- Provide MPI and TruVideo MPI services.
- Work schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off.
Qualifications
- At least 4 years of Service Technician experience.
- State Inspector certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it.
- ASE Certification is required.
- Strong skills in diagnostics, electrical systems, and engine repair.
- Knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
- Ambitious, hardworking, and a team player.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive attitude and customer-focused mentality.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and learn new technologies and procedures.
- Proficient in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
