Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order efficiently and in accordance with dealership policies and procedures.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed of additional services needed.
• Provide estimates for the time required for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Provide MPI and TruVideo MPI services.
• Schedule work from Tuesday to Saturday, with Sundays and Mondays off.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Service Technician experience required.
• State Inspector certification is a plus or willingness to obtain it.
• ASE Certification is required.
• Qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair are preferred.
• Broad knowledge of new vehicle technologies.
• Ambitious, hardworking, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mentality.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively.
• Willingness to learn new technology, repair, and service procedures.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
