Job summary

Swickard Auto Group in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking experienced flat-rate technicians to join our network of luxury and mainstream brand dealerships. This general application keeps pipelines open for upcoming openings across Audi, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, and Toyota stores.

We value strong diagnostic ability, a track record in franchised service, and a commitment to quality. ASE or OEM certifications are a plus, with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality-first service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of flat-rate technician experience in a franchised dealership.
• Brand experience across luxury, import, or domestic.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• ASE certifications a strong plus and OEM factory certifications highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles across engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, suspension, HVAC, and more using OEM procedures.
• Perform multi-point inspections and develop accurate repair plans.
• Execute repairs to factory specifications with speed, accuracy, and no shortcuts.
• Complete repair orders documenting work and parts used with precision.
• Stay current on service bulletins, software updates, and manufacturer procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose and repair vehicles across a range of systems -- engine, transmission, brakes, electrical, suspension, HVAC, and beyond -- using OEM diagnostic platforms and manufacturer procedures
• Perform multi-point inspections and develop accurate repair plans -- communicating findings to service advisors to support guest authorization
• Execute repairs to factory specifications with speed, accuracy, and zero shortcuts
• Complete repair orders accurately -- documenting all work performed and parts used with precision
• Stay current on technical service bulletins, software updates, and manufacturer repair procedures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of flat-rate technician experience in a franchised dealership -- required
• Any brand background considered -- luxury, import, and domestic experience all valued across our portfolio
• Strong diagnostic ability and a low comeback rate
• ASE certifications a strong plus -- OEM factory certifications highly valued
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
