Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive service technician.
• Strong automotive background and ability to diagnose repairs.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to pass drug screen.
• Heavy line mechanic with knowledge of engines and transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Perform work on repair orders with efficiency and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor so customers are informed about additional repairs and estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Prepare to obtain additional certification as needed.
• Willingness to learn with hands-on training.
• Help keep repair shop clean and organized.
• Keep a professional appearance.
