The Hertrich Family of Automobile Dealerships is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our service team in Elkton, MD. This full-time role connects customers with service, helping schedule appointments, discuss repair needs, and ensure a smooth, high-quality experience.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and team-oriented attitude.
• Prior customer service and/or sales experience required (automotive a plus).
• Strong communication skills; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Greet service customers promptly and professionally.
• Answer service calls and schedule appointments in our business development department as well as service.
• Communicate repair needs, estimates, and timelines clearly.
• Coordinate repair orders with Technicians.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service process.
• Recommend additional maintenance or services when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate service records.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience-every visit.
