Job summary

AutoNation's BMW Las Vegas service team is seeking an Experienced Automotive Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance to dealer and factory standards. You’ll work with tenured technicians and service advisors in a busy, temperature‑controlled shop, delivering top‑notch work and building customer trust.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Automotive technical training varies by store needs
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• Valid in-state driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on the repair order to dealer and factory standards
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety/reliability improvements
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order
• Maintain inventory of non-inventory tools and stay updated with factory technical bulletins and training
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
