Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen, LLP is hiring an Experienced Audit Associate to service nonprofit clients in New England. The role involves performing significant audit and other assurance engagements, building relationships, and ensuring close personal attention to client needs.

This in-office position can be based in any New England office. As an Experienced Audit Associate, you will supervise, mentor staff, and communicate engagement status with managers, while traveling to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• Current CPA or eligibility to sit for the CPA exam is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant experience in professional services required (completed internship(s) may qualify as related experience)
• Ability to travel to client sites which may also require infrequent overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.
• Audit complex areas or transactions as well as prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Schedule, delegate, and review the work of staff.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff.
• Keep Manager or Principal informed of engagement status and issues.
• Proactively interact and communicate with clients to gather information to ensure timely engagement wrap-up.
