Experienced Roller Operator Rummel Construction is seeking an experienced Knock Down and Finish Roller Operator. You should have experience working on paving projects and have the ability to work safely at all times. This is a safety sensitive position that is responsible for operating heavy construction equipment with knowledge of hazards, safety precautions, awareness, and of paving for a variety of projects. You'll be working with scores of experienced operators who put safety first and work together to meet the day's goals. We take pride in taking care of our equipment and making sure our employees are set up to be successful. We typically work Monday-Friday, though some project schedules may require WEEKEND work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

• Get off and on equipment using 3 points of contact
• Conduct daily routine inspections on assigned equipment and report defects to supervisors
• Work safely in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet, etc.)
• Approx. 3+ years' experience in the construction industry
• Preferred Experience in paving and heavy construction with knowledge of paving a variety of projects
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.

As a federal contractor, compliance with federal drug-free workplace requirements is mandatory. Therefore, applicants must test negative for all prohibited substances, including THC, regardless of state laws permitting its use.

SIGN-ON BONUS: $1,500* after 90 days of employment plus an additional $3,500 after 1 year of service. *If you are referred by a current employee the sign-on bonus will be reduced to $1,000 + $500 for the referral program. For further details contact [e-mail].
