Job summary

Rummel Construction, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Civil Construction Foreman to direct field personnel, uphold safety practices, and coordinate with on-site activities.

You will assist the Project Superintendent and maintain strong communication with supervision and project management.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in the construction industry, preferably heavy civil.
• Knowledge of cut and fill operations and earthwork.

HEAVY CIVIL CONSTRUCTION FOREMAN

This position is responsible for directing field personnel, administering good construction safety practices and communicating effectively with all on-site activities. Assisting the Project Superintendent with various construction activities and maintaining good communication with supervision and project management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE

• 2-3 Years' Experience in the Construction Industry, preferably heavy civil
• Knowledge of cut and fill operations
• Ability to work independently and as a team leader
• Exercises professional judgement and behavior
• Ability and willingness to travel to jobsites
• Cut/fill earthwork operations on residential projects
• Reading and interpreting plan sets
• Reading and understanding soil reports and project specifications
• Dust Control requirements and best practices
