Job summary

Bombardier Windsor Locks is seeking an Experienced Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician to troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft, often working directly with clients to find solutions.

Candidates must hold a valid FAA A&P license, have at least 3 years of corporate aircraft experience, and be able to read engineering drawings. Proficiency in English, ownership of basic hand tools, and overtime flexibility are required; SIDA eligibility may apply.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid FAA A&P license.
  • Able to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
  • Own a basic set of hand tools and demonstrate tool inventory control.
  • Must be able to communicate in English, written and verbal.
  • Must obtain Ground Support Equipment qualifications as required.
  • Willing to work unscheduled overtime including holidays.
  • Basic PC skills and ability to obtain SIDA badge if applicable.

What are your contributions to the team?

A&P Technicians are playing an essential role in our business. You will troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft often working directly with clients to help them find solutions.

  • You have a valid and current FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • You have a minimum of 3 years’ corporate aircraft experience.
  • You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings.
  • You have the ability to effectively communicate in English both written and verbal form on individual and / or aircraft status.
  • You own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools.
  • You must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications, as required.
  • You have the ability to work unscheduled overtime including nonscheduled workdays and holidays.
  • You have basic PC skills.
  • You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable).

This position may be eligible for up to a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus! (Terms and Conditions Apply)
