Job summary

Bombardier Windsor Locks is seeking an experienced A&P/Avionics Technician for unscheduled maintenance on daytime shift at the Hartford Service Center.

Role requires extensive aircraft maintenance background, including corporate jets and Bombardier models, with opportunities to advance toward delegated inspector status and engine run/taxi qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience on corporate jet aircraft.
• Minimum of 3 years of Bombardier aircraft model experience.
• Experience with aircraft return-to-service and inspection procedures.
• Ability to become a Delegated Inspector.
• Ability to train other employees.
• Ability to become Engine Run & Taxi qualified on Bombardier Aircraft.
• Ability to become APU Run qualified on Bombardier Aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Inspect incoming parts and documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
• Assist in other maintenance disciplines - Avionics, Structures, Composites etc.
• Operate ground support equipment as required.
• Provide time estimates and perform other duties as assigned.

What are your contributions to the team?

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements (Factory, Shop and / or Hangar positions)
• Comply with environmental health / safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in 5-S activities.
• Perform all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner

• Perform and document work completed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required

• Assist in other maintenance disciplines - Avionics, Structures, Composites etc.

• Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installations
• Provide time estimates Perform other duties as assigned

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a minimum of 8 years of aircraft maintenance work experience, or substantiated equivalent experience
• You have a minimum of 5 years of experience on corporate jet aircraft
• You have a minimum of 3 years of Bombardier aircraft model experience
• You have experience with aircraft return to service and inspection procedure
• You have the ability to become a Delegated InspectorYou have the ability to train other employees
