Job summary

Bombardier's Learjet Inc. in Tucson is seeking an Experienced Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Technician. You will troubleshoot, repair, inspect, and maintain customer aircraft, often working directly with clients to help them find solutions.

The role requires an A&P license and a minimum of 2 years’ experience on aircraft (fixed wing, rotary, or military). TN visa holders must have 5+ years on aircraft. Business aircraft experience is a plus, with strong English communication and basic PC skills.

Qualifications

• AP license is required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience on aircraft (fixed wing, rotary or military).
• TN Visa holders must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience on aircraft.
• Business aircraft experience is preferred.
• Ability to interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
• Own a basic set of hand tools with inventory/control of tools.
• Must obtain Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required.
• Ability to work unscheduled overtime, including holidays.
• Ability to work outdoors in seasonal weather.
• Basic PC skills.
• SIDA badge may be required (if applicable).

What are your contributions to the team?

A&A Technicians play an essential role in our business. You will troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft, often working directly with clients to help them find solutions.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license
• You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience on: aircraft, fixed wing or rotary or Military aircraft
• If you have a TN Visa, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience on: fixed wing, rotary or Military aircraft
• You have business aircraft experience (Preferred)
• You have the ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings
• You have the ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal, on individual and/or aircraft status
• You own a basic set of hand tools with the ability to demonstrate inventory & control of tools
• You must obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications as required
• You have the ability to work unscheduled overtime, including nonscheduled work days and holidays
• You have the ability to work in seasonal/inclement weather outside
• You have basic PC skills
• You have the ability to obtain a Security Identification Display Area badge (SIDA) (If applicable)
