Job summary

Aerospace manufacturer partnered with Adecco Portugal seeks an experienced CNC professional who can take a part from drawing through programming, setup, and machining in a fast-paced shop environment. You will combine hands-on machining with CAM programming, troubleshooting, and process improvement, using Mastercam, G/M code and GD&T to meet tight tolerances on precision components.

The role requires 4–6 years of CNC experience, independent programming, setup, and operation of mills and lathes,

Qualifications

Proficiency in CNC programming for milling and turning
Strong knowledge of Mastercam, G/M code and GD&T
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints

Responsibilities

Develop and refine milling and turning programs using Mastercam and G/M code.
Select cutting tools, establish machining sequences, and prepare fixtures and machine setups.
Prove out new programs and adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to improve quality and efficiency.
Machine components from castings, forgings, and bar stock.
Interpret drawings and GD&T to ensure tolerances.
Inspect work with precision measuring instruments.
Troubleshoot machining issues with engineering and production.
Document production activity and maintain a safe workspace.
