Role Description

The Experience Team Member – Part Time is responsible for supporting day-to-day program activities and guest experiences at UPSWING Foundation’s events and youth sports programs. Working on-site in Centennial, CO, this team member will welcome participants and families, assist with check-in, answer phone calls and emails, distribute materials and equipment, and help ensure that sessions run smoothly and on schedule. The role includes setting up and breaking down event spaces, maintaining a safe and organized environment, and providing clear, friendly guidance to youth, caregivers, and partners. The Experience Team Member will collaborate closely with coaches, volunteers, and staff to deliver engaging, inclusive experiences aligned with UPSWING’s mission, while gathering feedback and sharing observations to help improve future programs. This is a part-time, on-site role that may include evenings and weekends depending on schedules.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage youth, families, volunteers, and partners in a welcoming, inclusive manner.
• Organizational and time-management abilities for coordinating event logistics, managing check-in processes, and maintaining orderly program spaces.
• Customer service and hospitality skills to support positive participant experiences, respond to questions, and address minor issues calmly and professionally.
• Basic problem-solving and adaptability skills to handle changing event needs, support staff and coaches, and find practical solutions on-site.
• Interest or experience in youth development, sports, education, or community programs, with a commitment to equity and access for diverse communities.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks (such as setting up equipment and materials) during events as needed.
• Availability for part-time, on-site work in Centennial, CO, including some evenings and weekends based on program schedules.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional experience in events, recreation, or nonprofit settings is a plus.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• We’re looking for an outgoing, detail-oriented team member to be the face of our state-of-the-art athletic facility in Centennial, CO.
• Part-time | $20/hr | Flexible Schedule

• Facility Hours: Mon–Fri 8AM–9PM, Sat 9AM–5PM (closed Sun, except special events). Approx. 15–25 hrs/week.
