Staccato Vegas is hiring an Experience Lead/Maintenance to lead advanced pistol, rifle, and tactical firearms training for a diverse range of shooters. The role also covers range maintenance, safety oversight, and helping guests understand rules and proper handling.

The successful candidate will have a strong firearms instruction background, experience in law enforcement or military training, and a commitment to responsible firearms education.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate advanced pistol, rifle, and tactical firearms training for a wide range of shooters.
• Perform maintenance duties across ranges and facilities (berms, targets, stands, range assets).
• Educate members and guests on facility rules, safety procedures, and proper firearm handling.
• Maintain safe, orderly range operations and respond to emergencies as needed.

The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Experience Lead/Maintenance to lead and facilitate advanced pistol, rifle, and tactical firearms training for a wide range of shooters. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firearms instruction, law enforcement or military training, and a passion for educating and empowering individuals with responsible firearm handling and marksmanship skills. This position will guide guests through various firearms related experiences. In addition, perform maintenance duties in support of the range including the long range, short range, shooting bays, special purpose ranges and other shooting and facility areas.

• Educating members and guests on facility rules and guidelines, including proper shooting behavior, basic firearm use, including enforcement and patron adherence to the agreed upon safety rules and procedures, and related activities.
• Assist with maintenance activities for the ranges such as, but not limited to painting, correcting and/or reporting safety hazards, building range assets, dirt work including berms and backstops, building, replacing targets/stands, mechanic work on vehicles, landscaping, and minor construction.
• Show courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with members and guests, promoting a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
• Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the company by offering suggestions and participating as an active member of the team.
• Observe safe work methods and use of safety equipment; secure work sites from safety hazards as necessary.
• Cope with adverse situations firmly, courteously and with respect for individual rights.
• Traverse rough desert terrain safely.
• Understands and carries out oral and written instructions effectively and efficiently.
• Establishes effective working relationships with departmental personnel, members, guests, various governmental agencies, and community groups.
• Regular and dependable attendance, available to work a varied schedule with flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Assist and/or provide appropriate first aid.
• Use standard office equipment, including a computer, for emails and course work.
• Determining proper course of action under emergency conditions.
• All Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

In addition to general team member expectations, this role explicitly requires the following:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); military or law enforcement background preferred.
• Certified Firearms Instructor through a recognized body such as the NRA, USCCA, or POST (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of state and federal firearm laws and safety standards.
• Excellent communication, public speaking, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage groups and maintain control in high-stress or live-fire environments.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• CPR and First Aid certified (preferred or required based on company policy).
• Comfortable working in outdoor conditions year-round.
