Job summary

Staccato is seeking a Retail Associate at its Staccato Ranch in Florence, TX. You will provide high-touch service to guests, advise on firearms, memberships, gear, and ranch offerings, and guide customers through safe handling and compliance steps including 4473s and background checks.

You will support day-to-day store operations, maintain inventory, assist with displays, process sales at the POS, and help coordinate events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail, hospitality, or customer service; firearms industry a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-touch service to guests advising on firearms, memberships, gear, and ranch offerings.
• Guide customers through safe handling protocols and required compliance steps including 4473s and background checks.
• Support day-to-day operations of the Staccato Ranch retail store; keep a clean, organized environment.
• Maintain inventory records, assist with stock replenishment, and support audits.
• Provide knowledgeable, professional service in-store or over the phone; process transactions using POS.
• Help coordinate events, product launches, and Ranch-hosted experiences.
• Collaborate with Retail Manager and cross-functional teams to enhance the Ranch experience.
• Ensure compliance with ATF and internal policies for firearms handling and documentation.

THE POSITION

The Retail Associate provides high-touch service to guests by advising on firearms, memberships, gear, and ranch offerings. They guide customers through safe handling protocols and all required compliance steps, including 4473s and background checks. This role supports a premium hospitality experience while driving retail and membership sales.

• Support the day-to-day operations of the Staccato Ranch retail store, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, assist with stock replenishment, and support inventory audits.
• Provide knowledgeable, professional, and enthusiastic service to customers, whether in-store or over the phone.
• Assist with merchandise displays and ensure product placement aligns with brand standards.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Help coordinate special events, product launches, and Ranch-hosted experiences as needed.
• Collaborate with the Retail Manager and cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Training, Customer Service) to enhance the Ranch experience.
• Support compliance with ATF and internal policies for firearms handling and documentation.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service; experience in the firearms or outdoor industry is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a passion for delivering best-in-class service.
• Comfortable handling firearms and/or willing to be trained in firearms safety protocols.
• Must be eligible to work in a firearms retail environment under applicable federal and state laws.
