Job summary

Comfort Keepers in Irving, TX is seeking a skilled caregiver to deliver exceptional in-home support, focusing on mobility, transfers, and personal care. You will follow a personalized Plan of Care, assist with daily living tasks, provide companionship, and ensure a safe home environment while communicating effectively with clients and families.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of senior care/caregiving experience.
• Proficiency with transfer equipment (gait belts, sit-to-stand, Hoyer lifts).
• Dementia or personal care experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license, active auto insurance, and a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Mobility & transfers: assist with ambulation and safe transfers using gait belts and devices.
• Daily living support: help with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meals.
• Safety & care planning: follow the Plan of Care, monitor fall risks, maintain a safe home.
• Companionship: provide social engagement, interaction, and emotional support.

Comfort Keepers is looking for a skilled, confident, and reliable Caregiver to deliver exceptional in-home support. Proficiency with transfer equipment (gait belts, sit-to-stand, Hoyer lifts) is required.
