The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Arcadia, FL to operate an Excavator on the 225151 - PR3 Pumping & Conveyance Volume 4 - Pipelines project.

You will contribute to constructing, maintaining, and repairing highway and heavy civil works, with opportunities to work across North America. Requirements include 3–5 years of excavator experience, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, adherence to safety policies, and successful pre-employment drug screening.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years operating experience preferred
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather conditions
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periods
• Must communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly

Responsibilities

• Operates an excavator to dig, move and transport materials such as dirt and rocks
• Follows safety procedures for loading/unloading materials and equipment
• Performs routine maintenance and checks on equipment; completes documentation as needed
• Performs other related duties as required

OVERVIEW

Archer Western Construction, LLC is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the 225151 - PR3 Pumping & Conveyance Volume 4 - Pipelines, in Arcadia, FL. The Excavator Operator's primary function is to operate an Excavator at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as needed. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates a Excavator to complete tasks such as digging, excavating, and move and/or transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other types of aggregate
• Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials
• May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork and other documentation as needed
• May perform other related duties as required
