The Walsh Group is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the West Bartow Reclamation Facility in Kingston, GA. You will operate a range of heavy equipment to build, maintain, or repair highways and civil structures, while supporting other site tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Prefers 3–5 years of operating experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Good manual dexterity.
• May be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for extended periods.

• Knows procedures related to loading/unloading materials.
• May perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment; completes required paperwork.
• May experience vibration/noise while operating equipment.

OVERVIEW

Archer Western Construction is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the West Bartow Reclamation Facility, in Kingston, GA. Primary function is to operate a variety of Heavy Equipment at the site of work to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building type structures; equipment operators are also expected to assist in other duties around the jobsite as needed; operates equipment in compliance with company operating safety, policies, and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operates a variety of Equipment to complete tasks such as clearing land, trimming backfill, and to move and/or transport materials such as dirt, rocks, and other types of aggregate.
• Must have knowledge of operating procedures as it pertains to loading and unloading materials.
• May oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments on equipment; performs daily safety and maintenance checks; completes paperwork and other documentation as required.
• May be some vibration associated with equipment operation; jolts and vibrations may result from operating equipment; loud noise when operating equipment.
• May perform other related duties as required.
