Job summary

National Veterinary Associates is seeking a Director, Experience & Culture to lead the company’s strategy and operating model for team member engagement, culture, and experience across 1,300 sites and the support center.

Reporting to the VP, Talent & Organizational Effectiveness, this role serves as a strategic advisor to People, Field Operations, Medical, and business leaders, translating values and priorities into scalable programs, leadership practices, and measurable workforce outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading company-wide experiences and culture strategies.
• Ability to translate values into scalable programs and leader routines.
• Experience advising senior executives in a matrixed organization.
• Familiarity with analytics, learning, recognition, and workflow platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead a multi-year Experience & Culture strategy across 1300 sites and the support center.
• Own team member-listening strategy and annual engagement insights.
• Establish culture and leadership-behavior framework with clear expectations.
• Set experience standards across onboarding, tenure, transitions, and development.
• Develop field activation model with playbooks and toolkits.
• Lead inclusion, belonging, and community-building strategy.
