Job summary

Prime Source Expense Experts, a Buyers Edge Platform brand, seeks an Expense Consultant to support the CRO by coordinating analytics, vendor data, and customer lifecycle management. You will help steer pricing initiatives and ensure data integrity across vendor deals.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in customer success, sales operations, data analysis, or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Demonstrated experience working with spend data, vendor contracts, or procurement analytics is a plus.
• Prior exposure to RFP/bid processes or B2B customer management highly desirable.
• Analytical rigor: proficiency in data organization, spend analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, etc.).
• Project management: ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder workflows and meet deadlines.
• Communication: exceptional written and verbal skills; comfortable liaising with leadership and clients.
• Customer orientation: experience in client-facing roles with a proactive, service-first mindset.
• Adaptability: thrive in a fluid, high-growth environment with shifting priorities.
• Attention to detail: high accuracy in data handling, reporting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operational Support (Vendors): Manage administrative and analytical workflows for complex vendor deals.
• Customer Success: Primary day-to-day point of contact for existing clients; identify service issues and growth opportunities.
• Strategic Projects: Data-driven support for RFPs, bids, vendor negotiations, and internal pricing analysis.
• Prepare, clean, and organize customer spend data and utilization reports.
• Identify gaps where customers are not maximizing Prime Source programs or contracts.
• Support vendor analysis and purchasing data collection for negotiation and pricing strategy.
• Actively participate in bid and proposal development processes.
• Manage project coordination, documentation, and customer follow-up activities.
• Reduce CRO burden through proactive analytics ownership.
