Johnson Service Group is seeking an expeditor for Day Shift in a fast-paced production environment. This contract position supports supply and inventory and is eligible to convert to full-time based on performance. Day Shift: 6:45 - 3:15 p.m.

$22.00 per hour. The Expeditor ensures material flow and inventory accuracy across production areas, monitoring rack availability and utilization, and performing regular inventory counts to maintain efficiency throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or material coordination is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Basic data tracking and reporting skills (Must have MS Office and Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform rack inventory counts in each designated area at the start of shift, mid-shift, and end of shift (three counts per shift) to track availability by model.
• Maintain accurate records of rack quantities and report discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure production lines are consistently and fully utilized to support production requirements.
• Coordinate with production and planning teams to address shortages, imbalances, or flow issues.
• Monitor rack movement and placement to ensure proper allocation across areas.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and rack utilization.
• Communicate status updates and escalating issues to supervisors in a timely manner.
