Job summary

AtWork Group is seeking a detail-oriented Production Expeditor to support our manufacturing team in Santa Ana, CA. You will help ensure materials, parts, and work orders move efficiently through production to meet customer deadlines.

Responsibilities include tracking materials, releasing work orders, monitoring schedules, and coordinating with planners, quality, and engineering. Strong organization and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in a similar manufacturing or production role required.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working on the production floor and coordinating across departments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Forklift experience is a plus (sit-down and stand-up).

Responsibilities

• Track and coordinate the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies through production.
• Ensure production schedules stay on track and meet shipping deadlines.
• Release work orders to the production floor based on schedule priorities.
• Monitor work orders and follow up to ensure timely completion.
• Verify inventory levels and request materials as needed.
• Communicate production status with planners, customer service, and internal teams.
• Organize and maintain production documents (drawings, data sheets, shortage reports, etc.).
• Help resolve issues by working with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams.
• Track work-in-progress (WIP) and keep materials properly organized.
• Support daily production meetings and provide updates.
• Assist with moving materials between departments (using pallet jacks or forklifts as needed).
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace (5S standards).

Job description: Production Expeditor

Pay: $24/hr.

Schedule: Monday– Friday, 6 AM – 2: 30 PM (Overtime as needed)

Location: Santa Ana, CA
