Job summary

Cosm in Inglewood, CA is seeking an Expeditor to bridge the kitchen and dining room, ensuring every dish is prepared, plated, and delivered with precision and care to create memorable guest experiences.

The Expeditor (Expo) helps bring the fan (guest) experience to life by ensuring every dish is delivered with precision, timing, and care. Serving as the connection point between the kitchen and front-of-house, this role ensures a smooth, coordinated flow of service—so every fan interaction feels seamless, elevated, and memorable.

Responsibilities:
  • Bring the Pillars of Service (Connected, Optimistic, Service Oriented, and Memorable) to life through team and fan (guests) interactions
  • Prepare and deliver all orders accurately, ensuring special instructions are executed with attention to detail and presentation meets company standards—creating a memorable experience for every fan.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all food and beverage offerings, including menus, specials, seasonal items, and promotions, to confidently guide guests and enhance their overall experience.
  • Deliver a service-oriented experience by anticipating fan (guest) needs, responding promptly, and going beyond expectations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Foster a connected team environment by supporting fellow team members, communicating clearly, and contributing to a one-team approach that prioritizes the fan( guest) experience.
  • Engage fans (guests) a welcoming and energetic atmosphere.
  • Stay informed on company products, services, events, and promotions to provide relevant and engaging recommendations to fans (guests)
  • Follow directions from supervisors with a positive, solutions-focused mindset, including completing side work, cleaning tasks, and operational support as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to continuously improve product knowledge, service skills, and overall performance.
  • Maintain flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment while remaining composed under pressure and delivering consistent, high-quality service.
  • Demonstrate strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills to support efficient operations and team coordination.
  • Maintain knowledge of table and seating layouts to ensure smooth and accurate service delivery.
  • Follow all company and state safety and sanitation guidelines to support a safe and secure environment for fans (guests) and team members.
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform all essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, while adhering to all company policies and procedures outlined in training materials and the employee handbook
Experience:
  • Previous serving experience required, preferably in a fast-paced, high volume, full-service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills required.
  • Must be fluent in English and able to read & write in basic English.
  • Food Handler Card required (or ability to obtain within required timeframe)

  • Must be of legal age to work unrestricted hours as outlined by local ordinances and state laws.
  • Must be able to work a variety of shifts, based on the need volume of the operation (late hours, holidays, weekend, etc.
  • Demonstrates good time management skills and communication skills.
  • Follows Company and state safety guidelines to provide a safe working environment.
  • Must be able to continuously stand, walk and lift up to 10 pounds.
  • Must be able to frequently bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Will seldom be sitting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting over 50 pounds.
