Urban Egg is hiring an Expeditor to ensure smooth operation between kitchen and servers in a fast-paced breakfast/lunch venue. This tipped role offers an opportunity to earn an hourly wage with good benefits and growth potential.

You will coordinate order timing, garnishes, and guest preferences, contributing to quick, accurate service and guest satisfaction in a welcoming, energetic environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that kitchen orders have been properly prepared by the kitchen.
• Add garnishes or condiments to the dish as needed.
• Understand and apply the policy on guest preferences and allergies.
• Communicate with kitchen on meal timing to keep service flowing.
• Coordinate with servers during guests' visit for smooth service.
• Keep things flowing and deliver orders to tables quickly.
• Stay aware of food safety and proper temperatures for guests.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Expeditor to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of operations within our restaurant. The Expo position is all important and key to providing excellence in operation. You are the central hub of communication between the kitchen and servers. This is a tipped position where you can make a solid hourly wage!

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that kitchen orders have been properly prepared by the kitchen.

• Understands the company policy on dealing with guest preference and allergies.
• Communicate with kitchen on meal timing.
• Communicate with servers during guest's visit.
• Responsible for keeping things flowing and getting orders delivered to tables as quickly as possible.
• Be constantly aware of factors such as food safety and temperature that is being delivered to guests.
• Responsible for managing guest requests at the table quickly and with a smile.

Paid Sick Leave (Colorado)

Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), Urban Egg provides the following paid leave to all employees working in a Colorado-based location: Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Team members earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.
