Job summary

Urban Egg is seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our team. You will act as the central hub between the kitchen and servers, ensuring orders flow smoothly and guests receive timely, accurate dishes.

This is a tipped, full-time role with competitive pay and benefits, including health and PTO. You will work daytime/weekend shifts in a fast-paced, friendly environment designed to deliver a superior breakfast, brunch, and lunch experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Expeditor to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of operations within our restaurant. The Expo position is all important and key to providing excellence in operation. You are the central hub of communication between the kitchen and servers.

This is a tipped position where you can make a solid hourly wage!

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that kitchen orders have been properly prepared by the kitchen.
• Add any necessary garnishes or condiments to the dish.
• Understands the company policy on dealing with guest preference and allergies.
• Communicate with kitchen on meal timing.
• Communicate with servers during guest’s visit.
• Responsible for keeping things flowing and getting orders delivered to tables as quickly as possible.
• Be constantly aware of factors such as food safety and temperature that is being delivered to guests.
• Responsible for managing guest requests at the table quickly and with a smile.

• Prior kitchen experience in a full-service restaurant
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
