Job summary

Urban Egg is seeking an experienced Expeditor to ensure smooth, fast-paced operation in the dining area. You will act as the central hub between the kitchen and servers to deliver timely, high-quality plates and guest satisfaction.

As a tipped position, you can earn a solid hourly wage while contributing to a vibrant team culture and dining experience. Experience in a full-service restaurant and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that kitchen orders have been properly prepared by the kitchen.
• Add any necessary garnishes or condiments to the dish.
• Understands the company policy on dealing with guest preference and allergies.
• Communicate with kitchen on meal timing.
• Communicate with servers during guest’s visit.
• Responsible for keeping things flowing and getting orders delivered to tables as quickly as possible.
• Be constantly aware of factors such as food safety and temperature that is being delivered to guests.
• Responsible for managing guest requests at the table quickly and with a smile.

Paid Sick Leave (Colorado)

Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), Urban Egg provides the following paid leave to all employees working in a Colorado-based location: Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Team members earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.
