Job summary

Pei--genesis is seeking an Expeditor to prioritize and coordinate multiple orders in a fast-paced operations environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, proactive communication, and delivering customer satisfaction.

The candidate should possess strong planning, purchasing, and customer service experience, with solid MS Excel/Word skills and familiarity with MRP2/inventory systems.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent is required.
• Some Planning, Purchasing, or Customer Service experience is preferred in business-to-business activity.
• Excellent typing/data processing skills.
• Intermediate to advanced PC skills and MS Excel/Word are a must.
• Familiarity with software including MRP2 and inventory management is preferred.
• Willingness to learn and master internal Planning and Purchasing system.

Responsibilities

• Obtain delivery information for sales reps to process quotes.
• Expedite past due deliveries with priority on existing customer requirements.
• Verify POs and ensure special handling is addressed promptly.
• Respond with urgency and provide information/resolution to the appropriate people.
• Interact with suppliers and customers in a friendly, timely manner.
• Run daily and monthly reports.
• Assist with special projects and data entry.
