The Outside Expeditor is the critical link between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring that each dish is presented, delivered, and served with precision and excellence. In a fine dining setting, this role demands poise, urgency, a deep understanding of the menu, and a commitment to seamless guest experience. The Outside Expeditor manages the pass from the dining room side, confirming orders, orchestrating the flow of service, and supporting both back-of-house and front-of-house teams with grace and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the final check on all plates before they leave the kitchen, ensuring accuracy, presentation, temperature, and timing are aligned with standards.
• Communicate constantly and clearly with the kitchen and service teams to maintain a synchronized flow of service.
• Organize and manage the pass, keeping dishes properly queued and prioritized for efficient service.
• Ensure all modifiers, allergies, and special requests are correctly reflected on outgoing dishes.
• Relay any issues or delays to the Service Manager and service staff promptly and constructively.
• Support runners with proper dish identification and table delivery guidance.
