Job summary

BBQ Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Expeditor to ensure quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner. You will direct servers to deliver and complete orders, and keep the line stocked, neat, clean and safe at all times.

You will handle multiple tasks with attention to detail, adhere to recipes, and maintain a fast-paced kitchen workflow while upholding food safety and a professional image. A positive attitude and teamwork are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 2 years of work or related experience preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule of nights, days, weekends and holidays.
• Safe food handling and safety is always a top priority.

Responsibilities

• Timeliness- Ensures kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and sent out together by directing servers and/or food runners to deliver and complete the orders.
• Pace- Brisk and steady, organized, no unnecessary steps
• Recipe Adherence -- Ensures proper presentation of each plate and the appropriate temperature
• Cleanliness -- Maintain the kitchen and all of its equipment to a "like new" condition. Practice clean as you go!
• Productivity -- Your productivity is measured, not only by the quality of what you do, but by the quantity of work you complete in a specific time period
• Organization skills are a must
• Think ahead -- Stock supplies before the rush
