Job summary

Fairfield Chair Co. is seeking an Expeditor to track, maintain, and expedite all orders at the Lenoir, NC plant. You will ensure on-time deliveries while upholding safety and housekeeping standards on the production floor.

The role requires strong communication, computer proficiency, and the ability to work independently or in a team to meet deadlines. This is a full-time position based in a climate-controlled upholstery manufacturing environment.

• Must have some computer skills and ability to use a scanner.

Responsibilities

• Expedite Priority orders daily and track on-time deliveries.
• Process all offsite Distribution Orders and review open orders.
• Update customers on promise dates and maintain delivery times.
• Ensure safety and good housekeeping around the work area.
