Job Summary: The restaurant Expeditor ensures quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner; that food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste; and that the line is always stocked, neat, clean and safe.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensures kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and sent out together by directing servers and/or food runners to deliver and complete the orders.
2. Maintains a brisk and steady pace, organized, with no unnecessary steps.
3. Ensures proper presentation of each plate and the appropriate temperature, adhering to recipes.
4. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen and all equipment, practicing clean as you go.
5. Measures productivity by the quality and quantity of work completed within a specific time period.
6. Demonstrates organization skills and the ability to think ahead, such as stocking supplies before the rush.
