Job summary

SimVentions is seeking a field-oriented professional to support Expeditionary Robotics with USVs, UGVs, and sUAS in lab and field environments. The role involves training government personnel and participating in diverse experimentation and exercises.

The candidate should be capable of diagnosing problems in austere settings, meeting FAA Part 107 drone requirements, and traveling to remote sites. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Qualifications

• Prior military experience in a combat arms MOS/Rating is preferred.
• Familiarity with autonomous systems.
• Experience designing and 3D printing parts.
• Troubleshooting of electronics and basic soldering skills.

Responsibilities

• Possess user and instructor level knowledge of USV, UGV, and sUAS.
• Modify, maintain, operate, test, troubleshoot, and repair Unmanned Systems.
• Assist with inventory, packing, and movement of equipment for experiments or field exercises.
• Provide feedback to developers on usability and applicability.
