Salm Partners in Wisconsin is seeking an Expeditor to support shipping/receiving operations for finished goods and raw materials. The role involves forklift-driven material handling, inventory control, and documentation compliance within GMP and USDA guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience and material handling/shipping experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret packing slips, BOMs, safety rules, and procedures.
• Proficient with MS Excel and Outlook; MAS 500 experience highly preferred.
• Strong communication and math skills needed.

Aufgaben

• Review trucker appointment schedules and prioritize shift tasks to meet shipping/receiving schedules.
• Assign tasks to Expeditors.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs to assess supply needs and inventory.
• Record inbound material data (lot, weight, temperatures) in logs.
• Unload inbound shipments and deliver products to correct locations.
• Complete raw material inspections and verify items match packing slips.
• Load trucks for shipment and monitor date codes and pallet counts.
• Ensure paperwork accompanies each shipment and maintain GMP/safety compliance.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and assist with rework as needed.
