Job summary

Upstream Hospitality Group is seeking an Expeditor/Food Runner to keep plates moving efficiently and maintain high presentation standards in a fast-paced dining room.

Ideal candidates are team players with strong communication, stay organized under pressure, and enjoy working nights, weekends, and holidays to support our restaurant team.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry multiple plates, trays, and beverages safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for the duration of your shift.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely, accurate, and professional delivery of food to guests.
• Confirm every dish meets presentation and preparation standards before it leaves the kitchen.
• Review orders for special instructions, dietary needs, and modifications.
• Communicate guest feedback, concerns, or additional requests to servers and managers.
• Greet guests warmly and contribute to an outstanding dining experience.
• Support the front-of-house and back-of-house teams by staying proactive and engaged.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace policies.
• Assist with additional duties to help the team and maintain smooth restaurant operations.
