Aero Propulsion Support Group is comprised of three divisions:

• Aero Propulsion Support, Inc. which repairs and services small gas turbine engines and components.
• Aero Propulsion Support Distribution, LLC. which inventories and distributes small gas turbine engines and components.
• Aero Propulsion Support Manufacturing, LLC. which prototypes OEM parts for the small gas turbine business.

The Shop Expeditor will provide oversight to Production, Customer Support, Purchasing, Quality and Engineering to maintain and build relationships to support the activity and direction of Aero Propulsion Support, Inc.

Essential Functions

Production Requirement

Implementation through cell leaders, members, quality, and product engineers.

• Working to Customer requirements
• Weekly production meetings
• Metrics to monitor successes and opportunities for improvement
• Proper amount of labor and overtime based on budgets and work load

Lean thinking

Implementation through cell leaders, members and engineers.

• FIFO (First in First Out) flow
• Quick change tooling opportunity
• Work Cell flow design
• Cell member cleaning and maintenance schedule adherence
• Tools labeled and stored properly

Six Sigma methodologies

Implementation through engineers and cell members.

• Continuous improvement projects tied to specific metrics
• Turn time reduction
• Rework reduction
• Accurate routings and process sheets
• Technology introduction with proper ROI provided
