Overall Summary of Job
Motivated, self‑starter with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and complete tasks. High level CNC / Manual machinist position responsible for all aspects of the machine cell or improvement activity. Individual will be required to operate, set‑up and program/debug CNC Machinery.
Essential Functions
Performs operations on CNC machining centers and lathes and various other plant machinery and equipment.
Individual will be responsible for working from blueprints and job descriptions.
Individual must be fluent in G and M code and be able to work with various CAD/CAM programs such as Mastercam or Autodesk Inventor.
Tool‑Making experience is important in addition to the CNC set‑ups and programs.
Maintains records and logs, as needed.
Guidance and direction will come from experienced production Leads. Performs related duties as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from high school and Technical School with 3‑5 years of experience minimum.
Ability to work from sketches, drawings, and blueprints.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and to communicate effectively.
Ability to work cooperatively with others. Excellent work history and attendance record.
