Job summary

MATTR is seeking an Expansion/Extrusion Operator to join our manufacturing team in Ohio. You will operate, monitor, and maintain extrusion and expansion processes, ensure quality, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

This role requires hands-on mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and adherence to safety and SOPs. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, learn Lean principles, and train junior staff while contributing to on-time production and material quality for our customers in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read gauges and perform basic measurements.
• Lean principles knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion and expansion equipment and monitor production.
• Changeover, start-up, and handoffs between shifts.
• Record material and labor usage accurately.
• Support maintenance and servicing of machines.
• Ensure product quality and process conformance.
