Job summary

Technoform in Twinsburg, OH seeks an Extrusion Operator to run high-precision plastic extrusion lines. You will perform line setups, changeovers, and detailed inline QC and data reporting.

The role requires a mechanical background, 2 years in extrusion, and strong math/measurement skills. The position features a Friday–Sunday 6pm–6am shift, with emphasis on continuous improvement, Lean practices, and teamwork to meet product specs and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as an extrusion operator.
• Mechanical background; experience with plastic extrusion equipment preferred.
• Experience with precision measurement devices or computerized control systems preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing and ISO/Lean environments is a plus.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Operate an extrusion process of high precision custom plastic profiles.
• Initial line setup and change overs following posted schedule.
• Detailing on line, QC and production data reporting.
• Blend materials and load hoppers to meet specifications and orders.
• Perform mechanical and physical testing per spec using calipers and similar tools.
• Maintain and repair extrusion line equipment and tools as needed.
• Maintain 5S and LEAN practices; keep work areas orderly.
• Communicate with teammates to uphold quality, safety, and efficiency.
