MT. DIABLO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT in Concord is seeking an Expanded Learning Specialist I for the Willow Creek Center. The role supports the Expanded Learning Program with instructional enrichment, student activities, and partner communication.

The position is part-time, 193 calendar days, with a wage of $23.07 per hour. Starting date is immediate; training and district policies apply. Applicants should have a high school diploma and relevant child experience.

Formación

• Combination of training and experience equivalent to high school graduation; some experience with children; enrichment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general classroom procedures and diverse student backgrounds.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with children, parents, and administration.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and facilitate educational enrichment opportunities and manage instructional materials.
• Instruct students and modify activities as needed.
• Model professional behavior and language with all stakeholders.
• Follow site policies and weekly schedule; prepare materials for lessons daily.
• May drive passenger vans and follow district policies and training.
• Participate in Expanded Learning Program staff development.
