Job summary

Launch seeks an Expanded Learning Opportunity Director to lead out-of-school time programs across Seattle locations. You will coach site managers, manage grant-based budgets, coordinate data reporting, and partner with universities and community programs to enhance child outcomes.

Ideal candidates have a degree in education/youth development and several years of leadership in childcare or after-school settings, with strong collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• ONE OF THE FOLLOWING for state licensing qualifications: associate degree ... AND 5 years’ full-time experience OR a bachelor’s degree ... and 3 years’ experience
• Experience in youth development, childcare, or education settings preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain clear background checks and attestations

Responsibilities

• Support program quality through coaching and training across multiple sites
• Manage operating budgets tied to grants and contracts
• Coordinate data reporting and sharing agreements with districts
• Build relationships with schools, community partners, and UW/ECE programs
• Lead staff in implementing developmentally appropriate curricula
• Occasional travel to Launch locations as needed
