Job summary

Aspen Dental is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Florida to support doctors and hygienists with chairside procedures and patient care. You will prepare operatory rooms, sterilize equipment, and help maintain productive patient flow throughout the day.

The role requires current dental assistant licensure, radiology certification, and CPR/BLS. Experience with four-handed dentistry and infection control is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant license or registration as required by state.
• Valid radiology certification per state requirements.
• CPR or BLS certification up to date.
• State-expanded function certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist doctors and hygienists during a variety of procedures.
• Prepare operatory and maintain patient flow throughout the day.
• Breakdown operatory rooms and sterilize equipment per policy.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA requirements and ensure staff training.
• Take and develop dental radiographs as directed.
• Educate patients on post-treatment oral care and hygiene.
• Support charting and handoffs to the care team.
• Order and manage supplies within the practice budget.
