Elite-Dental-Partners in Springboro, OH is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join a patient-focused team. You’ll provide chair-side support, take X‑rays, enter treatment plans, and help educate patients on oral health.

Qualifications

• EFDA/EDDA/EFODA certification required or preferred.
• Radiology certification required for state compliance.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with dental software and MS Office; Dentrix preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork with the clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to dentists and hygienists.

• Maintain operatory setup, sterilization, and patient education.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.

We are seeking an Expanded FunctionsDental Assistant that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment
• Take and process X-Rays
• Perform procedures as directed by the Dentist and Hygienist, while maintaining a productive, efficient schedule
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health and how it is best maintained

Qualifications

• Advanced Dental Assistant Certification (EFDA, EDDA, EFODA)
• Radiology certification required to be compliant with the State Dental Board
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant preferred
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
