Job summary

Elite Dental Partners is seeking an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who shares our commitment to patient care and education. You will provide chair-side support, assist with X-rays, and help maintain a welcoming environment for patients.

The role requires EFDA/EDDA/EFODA certification and radiology certification, at least 2 years of experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Dentrix. You will collaborate with dentists and hygienists to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• EFDA/EDDA/EFODA certification.
• Radiology certification required by State Dental Board.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Dental Assistant.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software; Dentrix preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with the dental team.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side clinical support to Dentists and Hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-up
• Deliver a superior patient experience at all phases of their appointment
• Take and process X-Rays
• Perform procedures as directed by the Dentist and Hygienist, while maintaining a productive, efficient schedule
• Enter patient treatment plans and maintain files
• Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories
• Educate patients on the importance of their oral health and how it is best maintained

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with a dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to partnering with all team members to create a great environment
